Tatranska Strba

Kolibka Lieskovec

This cute little cafe isn’t exactly a restaurant but it is our favourity place to stop for a coffee or a tea. It does great local snacks and is only a short walk from the cabin. We love going here in the mornings.

Bistro u Sibalky

A local pizzaria with a warm welcoming vibe. The food is cheap and cheerful and is only a 15 minute walk away so if you’re feeling tired after a long day this can be the perfect place to go.

Koliba Zerucha

Just a little further down the road is the famous restaurant serving local Slovakian cuisine. This place really has an amazing atmosphere and is a great place for dinner. Not to mention Jan works there so you can be sure for a warm Slovakian welcome when you arrive.

Strsbke Pleso

Just a short ride up the mountain is the beautiful mountain town of Strbske Pleso which has some brilliant restaurants. We have picked just two of our favourites which we would highly recommend

Koliba Pleso

A beautiful little restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating which overlook the ski resort. The perfect to place to end the day after a long hike in the High Tatras while the sun is setting.

Koliba Patria

This charming restaurant overlooks the stunning lake in Strbske Pleso. The food is excellent and decently priced.
